Nora Boedeker is a Milwaukee-based naturalistic oil painter whose work is inspired by the plant models she created for the Milwaukee Public Museum.
A diversity of plant forms, colors, textures and shapes are seen in her paintings. Nora's award winning larger than life paintings have been shown throughout the midwest in both group and solo shows and have been described by the Shepherd Express newspaper as "breathtaking"*. In addition, she has taught classes and workshops for both adults and children.
Nora continues to do freelance museum work and work as a member of the exhibits staff of the Milwaukee Public Museum.
